Rural Grit Happy Hour

(CDT, UTC-05) (CDT, UTC-05)

The Brick , 1727 McGee St. , Kansas City, MO

Every Monday for 25 years, a group of Kansas City musicians has gathered for the Rural Grit Happy Hour, a showcase of American roots music. It's hard to nail down just what Rural Grit is: It's kind of a concert, kind of an open mic, kind of a community jam session. The fact that it's participant-driven means that each week is different, and special.

We will be the featured artists for the night!

Humbletown was born in a small town on the prairie and with the release of their new album "The Path I Chose to Walk," they are moving toward a national following. Haunting vocal harmonies, melodic clawhammer banjo, and high- energy flatpicking guitar showcase the songwriting talents of musicians Morgan Carnes and Dylan Lewis.”
